Would a car with a Belanger exhaust set up pass California emissions?

I am looking at an 02 with a full set up installed and am worried about Komifornia emissions?

Well I believe that us here n Toronto Ontario Canada has just as strict emissions testing as you guys there and I have a belanger set up on my car and with high flows abd a borla exhaust I passed with flying colors.

Depends really, if the headers have the factory heat shields over them and some form of Cat is in place along with both sets of 02 sensors, you'll most likely pass. Without the shields in place, a savvy tech may have issues.

Just picked up a 2002 GTS thats completely stock, I will be visiting CA DMV within the next cuople of days with smog cert in hand. However immediately therafter I will be installing a B&B cat back with M&M headers.

I pulled the CARB form for the Edelbrock headers and took it with me just in case. The smog tech only looked every once in awhile. Car passed no issues with high flow metal cats.

With good cats on a stock motor, you will pass emissions, but you would not pass the visual.
