I was just reading this old MotorTrend article (Detroit Muscle), and they did dyno runs with a RT10, Cobra R and Z06 (all 2000 model years). Z06 managed 344 rwhp, so that's pretty close to the stock 385hp at the crank. Cobra R did 376 rwhp! (it has the same hp rating as the Z06). And the RT10....425 rwhp and 460 ftlbs at the wheels. Pretty impressive numbers. That's quite a bit more than the factory figures.
Here's the article:

That's pretty funny...I have that magazine framed in my garage. I have all three of those cars, or had I should say. I sold my Millenium Yellow Z06. I always liked that cover shot of the 3 cars. All I can say is that they are all VERY different cars and give you a very different driving experience. On the track, I would take the Cobra R. For brute force acceleration, its pretty damn close between the Z06 and the Viper. Best bang for the buck in the trio is definitely the Z06 as it just does everything very well, but nothing beats the looks of the Viper.
