The Woodhouse truck will arrive tomorrow with a new Orange TA.

I purchased it a few days ago but was waiting as Mark's staff installed Belanger headers and a Corsa exhaust plus the tow hook.

Won't be any pictures (sorry). I just noticed enthusiasts aren't really allowed to post pics or I should say, "Gallery privileges up to 3 MB of uploads."
I've deleted a ton of photos but can't delete that many to get below 3MB.

Anyway I would like to thank Bill Pemberton for working with me and selling me the car and Mark Jorgensen for the mods.

Unfortunately I have no idea when I will be able to get it out as the streets here are snow packed.

Sounds fantastic.

Nothing like starting the New Year off with a TA, Fresh off the truck.

Now that you have a vin, you can get rid of the Enthusiast title, and post pictures galore.

Congrats on the TA! I bet it will be awesome fun. Don't recommend you push it..wait for warm dry weather. Keep it as a show car until Spring!

Doesn't SRT give free VCA membership for a year? I never got one with my 2009 car, but I thought they re-instituted that perk?

Actually I already had a VIN because I've owned an ACR for 5 years and VCA member since 2008. I think it is because I'm no longer a VCA member.

Congrats! But weren't you supposed to be waiting for a bad-ass new ACR? What made you pull the trigger on a TA now? I just got my VON today for a black TA...VIN soon maybe.

That was my plan but I kept looking at the TA's and decided to trade in the ACR.

Also, I've seen pics of the Black TA's. They are bad ass looking as well.

Now, if they produce an ACR in the next 2 - 3 years I'll probably pick one up.

I think they have quit doing that. I got the free membership when I bought my 08.

Great looking car! Does it have exterior carbon fiber bits?

Do you have any cabin drone with the windows up on easy throttle roll-ons when crusing with the headers? Usually this is present in teh 1500-2500 rpm range.

Congrats again!

Yes on the carbon fiber.

Can't tell you about the drone because our streets are snow packed so I haven't been able to drive it yet but sounds good in my garage (LOL).

This is my current plan also. Trading in the Black ACR for an Orange TA as I don't track nearly as often as I originally planned due to family obligations and work. Now I want a car that I can drive on the street (especially one without a big wing) but can still go to the track once or twice a year. The TA is just going to be perfect for me, even more perfect than the next gen ACR (for me that is). OK so can someone buy my ACR off of me please???

I had my ACR for five years and was planning on selling it later in the spring.

If you are interested in an orange TA you might contact Bill Pemberton at Woodhouse. He's got three orange one's left.

I traded mine to Woodhouse and Bill is very professional to deal with. People talk about SRT and the dealers but dealing with Bill reminded me of the high end
MB dealers. He gave me a fair offer for my ACR and there's not a lot of haggling back and forth.

My wife was a little sad seeing the ACR go but then again she gets attached to her cars. She just bought her 4th car since we got married 46 years ago.
I had a little tinge of guilt but then I found out it went to a good home - Leslie up in Indiana.
