Just wondering why SRT was not down here this year. I know the SRT cars, or at least the road warrior intro car was there last year. Is it a contracting/ manufacturers issue? Is this not the high end buyer the company is looking for? I saw a lot of deal making and promo going on with other manufacturers including setting up deposits on the new Z06. I did see six Gen 5 at one of the dealerships, including an orange TA but literally nothing in anyway on site. Going over to Russo tomorrow to see the Sons of Italy car.

Because like being the pace car for the Indy 500, it's all about the money. Normally Ford is mentioned NON-STOP during BJ. It appears to me Chevy paid a ton of money for floor space and advertising to be 'the brand' there.

But honestly, this is the least thing to be giving SRT complaints about. Auto auctions haven't been at their height in popularity for the last two-three years. Prices have been 'average' if you've been watching. Barrett Jackson isn't banking an extra $30k on top of a car worth $30k on the market anymore. What's going to hurt them more than anything is the rediculous TV coverage that Fox Sports is doing. It was on Fox Business last night and tomorrow it's on National Geographic.

I think SRT is not ther because they know it's, "Corvette's year". With the release of the new Z06, why spend to money on a losing marketing campaign? They would be better served spending the money doing promo work surrounding the Daytona 24Hr race and new TUDOR series.

I was there a couple days ago in Scottsdale....and like you said there were no SRT's....and there were only a couple GTS's and SRT10's. It was a pathetic showing if you are a Viper fan. Nicest one I saw was a 2002 GTS-R Final Edition... Chevy had a ton of floor space.

No complaints from me just an observation.
