Very different then day time cruising. The dark cockpit with the reddish glow of the instrument panel made for an earry feel. They are working on the freeways here in Diego-Town so they have concrete barriers on the edge of the fast lane with no shoulder, made the ride seem amusement parkish. Also the dims on my 02 R/T are pretty dim and pointed about 30 to 40 feet ahead of the car and down on to the road. They do not really light up the road. Now the brights on the other hand are pretty intense and do a good job illuminating the road. All in all, I had a good time.

I installed a set of HID's for low beams and PIAA Plasma Ion for fogs which tremendously improved night time visibility over stock halogens.

Here are a couple of pics that don't really do it justice. Looks much better in person. I went with 5000k which is the closet stock looking Hid output. Anything over that looks too bluish and aftermaket.

Drove my 2001 ACR 1,100 miles from the pickup point, mostly at night (4:30pm-7:30am). I agree-the cluster glow is a whole different animal from another car. It was an incredible experience.

I'd also like to know what lights you used. The stock lights ****.

Opt 7 HID 5000k with Canbus Pro. The set was $80 on ebay. For fog lights are PIAA Ion Plasma. They are yellow, but have a very slightly greenish tint at night from a certain angle that looks pretty cool. Huge difference over stock.

Last year i bought a Xenon Kit from BLOWN408 here on the forum. Cost me $170. It was made for Ducati Motocycles. Slim design kit that fits inside the viper headlight. I went with 8000K, yes it does have a blueish tint from the distance but boy you can see at night time. I am happy and no more problem with light bulbs burning out. Fog lights i had done with yellow bulbs not sure what they are i had them ordered through Bill Pemberton.
