Florida Panhandle Viper Owners

Hey guys. Just got my 08 SRT and waiting delivery from TX. I am currently deployed but will be back in the next week or so. I would like to link up once I get the car to FWB! Lets do a cruise some time! Nothing like a group of amazing cars cruising 98 to Destin or Panama City. Oh and Jim, the orange viper I think you are talking about, Im sure you have figured it out by now, is Mike. He has a copperhead edition with a paxton set up on it. Pretty bad car! Met with him one day when he was getting a dyno pull and I was getting a nitrous re-fill out at SS Customs. Lets gets some cruises set up for sure. Later guys. :2tu:

I drove out there too Roy.....wish I had called first with the weather being so crazy. Maybe next time......everything seems to get rained out these days!

Nick, definetly let me know when you get back. I was in the exact same shoes as you last year... in the desert just waiting to get back and buy a viper. I'm in Destin but go through FWB all the time.

Guys, I'm just above Montgomery Al and wouldn't mind making a trip down south either. I'll prob relocate to the Dothan Area this year which will make it easier too.

I live in Crestview. I have seen a couple of other Vipers in the area although I have not been able to meet up with any of the owners. Would like to meet some of the other local owners and maybe go for a cruise sometime.

Jav8or, there are definitely a good group of viper owners in the area. We all need to get back out when that weather gets better. I am deployed, again, but will be back soon. Roy, I havent heard from you in a while boss, how have you been! How is that beast of yours running?! Hope to see all of you guys again soon!

I've got a 97 B/W GTS and I live just above Tallahassee in Thomasville, GA. We used to get together with a bunch of car guys about 2 or 3 times a year at ******* in Tallahassee. Several of my buddies in Thomasville are car guys and one of the best shops for Vipers in the Panhandle is in Thomasville as well--South GA Corvettes run by Aaron Scott. He owns 4 or 5 Vipers and that's what he works on mostly now. We have 2 Twin Turbo Vipers in town with over 1100HP. He has an in-ground dyno setup etc. and would probably be glad to had a dyno day or some type of get together at his place--he used to do this for the ZR1 community. I've also got a 2011 911 Turbo S that is my daily driver and I've started getting into some driving events with that car. The Viper Scene back in the early 2000's was really full of a bunch of jerks and Viper Alley really epitomized that. I had to get away from it for awhile but I'd love to get back into the Viper community and be part of something in the panhandle. Please PM me or email me if anyone has any events they know of or if you want to get together and set something up.

If anyone wants to start off April nicely, there is a car show in Enterprise, AL. Probably 3-4 local Vipers will show up. I am thinking that if the weather is nice, after the car show, drive down to Destin for the night. Sat car show starts at 8 AM, runs thru 2-3 PM, then take off for the beach. Sound off people!

I was out of town for a bit but count me in as long as the weather holds out.

Do any of you guys want to do some drag racing? There is a day set aside on May 10th in Montgomery, AL. Few more are needed to fully pay for the day, but would be a great time to meet and have some fun.
