The car came with the gold outlines on the white stripes, so I just went with it. I added the gold badges/emblems myself. I like it, personally. Pics arent as clear from photobucket as they are on my computer, so sorry!

I've always liked gold wheels...Forgestars look great! Gold pinstriping along the white stripes isn't exactly my thing. I would put some white or black vinyl pinstriping over the gold to cover it, but the rest looks great :2tu:

Free- I am going to the pawn shop today. I will let you know what I find. Haha.

Stugots- Springs are coming. However, its nice not to have to worry as much about scraping. The roads in Kentucky aren't the best. What do you recommend? Eibachs seem to get mixed reviews.

Definitely needs lowered, it will look 100 times better afterwards. I have Eibachs on my GTS and Intrax on my RT-10. I would personally recommend the Intrax as I think the ride height is better about 1/2 lower and the ride is better. Either may be tough to find for a Gen II as I don't think they are made anymore.

That chrome gas cap stands out like a **** in a punch bowl now. It's gonna have to be gold too.

Free- yeah, I have considered that. Its polished, not chrome, however. Shouldn't be a hard fix.

the fuel cap could be anodized the same colour as the rims. if ur shocks are stock then the eibachs are a expensive way to lower when a complete new setup all around can be had for around 1200 bucks(including rear forks) that will perform way better as well. of course if cost is not a consideration then give er. just seems that for the 350 or so for eibachs on stocks or lowering caps plus labour to swap it would be easier to just drop 1200 for the swap and get new. I do not mind the gold accents, if I wanted poser stock I would of bought a crap ass mustang or vette

Thanks, WSAYERS. I may have a few fine tuning issues with the looks, such as lowering springs, etc, but I think it looks good.

The gold wheels do not bother me, but the rest of the gold accents make the car look too busy. If it were my car, I'd do these things to make it a knock-out.

1. Lowered (glad you are doing this already)
2. Remove the gold emblems. Go with no emblems (everyone knows it is a Viper)
3. Remove gold stripe border, if that is a decal.
4. Remove those huge Ferrari-esque gold Sneaky Pete logos on fenders. Those just don't look right, and we know it is a Viper.

Car would look kick-ass, then. Gold is one of those things that is best used in moderation on a car. Just the wheels need to be gold, nothing else.

Doesn't look bad, lower it and that will make the car. I wanted to go with bronze on my black GTS but the company didn't offer that finish. Are those 19s?

7th- they are 19s.

Nine- The gold stripe is painted. The previous owner added the stripes.

It will look better when the suspension settles down, looks like you took the pic right after you did the install. After much research on springs I decided on coilovers, I would not get the the drop I want with springs, plus I can adjust the ride height. Know what you mean though about scraping:crazy2:

I have always like the "gold" edition RT/10's and GTS's they made. I have to agree with Tony (NineBall).

lower it
Get rid of the gold sneaky pete (the vinyl decal deosn't look like it's very detailed either)
Elimnate gold lettering on bumper and hood.
I would also get rid of red center caps on wheels and go with either black or paint to match wheels.

Here is a new pic. I shot it yesterday. It appears as though the suspension has settled. It isnt as low as it was with the 17" wheels, but its lower than it was on the first day with the new wheels. Also, this pic is in natural light and may show a more accurate depiction of what the car looks like in person. I personally think its look awesome. This pic was not edited in anyway. It was just really sunny yesterday.

I was going to say take a picture outside somewhere, in the garage you can not tell, to me looks low enough, looks much better in this picture, thats the beauty of personalizing your own car, make it the way you like it.:usa:

Just wanted also to say after I let my car down from the jack stands it looks like a 4x4, as soon as you drive it it settles down to its ride height. :)
