I have a 1992 and a 1994 soft top.

The 1992 top: The car was being towed backwards on a tow truck and the back of the top was not latched in properly, so it came undone and flapped up and down in the wind and the 2 side bars were damage. The vinyl part is fine, however the 2 side bars that slide to connect the top together have been damaged and the top no longer can be used.

The 1994 top: One of the side bars was damaged, and it was jerry rigged into working with a custom bracket. It works but not really ideal.

1. Are these repairable? does anyone do repair work on the side bars? do these parts exist?
2. Are they worth anything as it?

I don't know if they are repairable or not, but I just ordered a hard top with side windows and I can't wait to be rid of my soft top, looks like crap and sounds like a plastic bag in a hurricane. Pony up the dough and do it right with an after market from the viperstore.

I drive around without the top 100% of the time. And i love having the softtop there for emergencies. I understand it doesn't look appealing but its functional. and quick to put together.

I've got a spare passenger side arm....but I am in desperate need of a drivers side one. Let me know if there is any way we could help each other out.
