Little work today. Moved the AC controls under the radio like the gen2s.

I didn't like how the cig lighter was deep and got rusty from having a lip where water could sit. Using a VW cig lighter to make it more flush of a fit. Just bored it out alittle and it goes right on with a nut on the back.

All the inter and carpet is out making the brackets for the lowered seat. I'm going to sound and heat seal under the carpet while it's out.

Was running through my head on what vehicle cup holder had a trim ring top to it. Since I have owned a few of the JK Jeep Wrangler I knew that was the style I needed. Call a few scrap yards and got a center section of a 2009 Jeep for $20. Trimed off what I didn't need and looks like it will work nicely. Just need to mold it into the Viper Console now.

Scoops showed up today from Autoform. Great guys and they make very nice parts. These scoops are fiberglass so bonding them to the hood that is glass will be a much better bond. Now just a ton of fine tube trimming.

Are you going to bond them smooth or will they be recessed like with the actual gen 2 hood? On the cup holders, not only no but HELL NO. If you have to have them make some kind of frame that slides behind the radio/cd player like a phone holder would, that makes it more easily reversible.

Bonding them smooth like this. Never liked the seam always looked like an after thought dodge had to fix the heat problem.

As a fan of the dark green this thread breaks my heart. And
being a nice green on to start with... ... ... ...

... but to each there own. Like you said yourself, not like youre
trying to mount a V8 in there or something. Good luck with
the build...

Got a set of half windows that I'm going to make fulls with a flip section and I was able to get a great deal on a 3 part roof off a member on here. So I'll have everything that can fit in the trunk for a just incase situation.

Spent a good amount of time today fitting the vents in the hood. Now time to bond them and get the hood in primer.

This car is going to look great! I have been following your thread closely since you started. I appreciate that you use a format for uploading your photos that my work computer can read because I'm at work 13 hours a day every single day--this has been a godsend. It seems as if my work computer can't see a lot of other peoples' photos and I cannot log in from there. Whatever you're doing, keep it up!

Have you made any progress on the cup holders?

Smoothed out side skirts and and the genV style wing showed up today from the great people at AutoForm. These guys make some great parts. Now just some fitting and trimming and I'll be ready to paint in a week or 2.

Still plugging away at this thing.
M&M Headers came in. These things are very nice, and after hearing all the great stuff about the power they make it was my first choice. And their customer service was great, super nice guys.
I got them raw because I wanted to weld V-bans on the ends. So now I'm coating them.

Still not 100% on which green.
The New 2014 Stryker Green next to Snake Skin Green. Stryker is the newer viper with the sticker in the window.
