Anyone else have a problem keeping their bumper nice?

I keep damaging my bumper. My 99 would scrape on my driveway. My 04 I keep hitting things in the roadway. Bringing it home after I bought it a truck kicked up a piece of metal and damaged the bumper. Then today a truck in front of me had a blowout and left about 1/3 of the tire in road. I couldn't swerve because I had cars on each side of me and not enough time to react and slow down. $2100 in damage...

eh, mine is thrashed with the usual sand blasting from tracking the car, following other cars too close before passing them.

Have hit dozens of stupid tumbleweeds, but never had any damage from them.

Have gone **** whacking with the car many times, but lucky to have no damage from that.

I just consider mine a hallmark of a driven car. There are several little chips here and there and the permanent bug stain or two, but I figure if I fix it it'll just get that way again before too long since I drive mine all the time. Have some nasty spider webbing on the bottom near the passenger fog light due to an off-road excursion that I would like to address at some point, but not sure when I'll get around to it. It's a low slung sports car, so there's not really much you can do shy of a clear bra.

On my car I intalled a euroteck front splitter. http://www.euroteckmotorsports.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=detail&id=681502&product=23&pageid=47 The carbon fiber can take a hit for sure.
