While looking under the hood, I noticed some grime/oil/residue on the lower right side of the engine bay. It's a 2010 ACR w/ 13k miles. Oil pressure is fine, oil level is fine, and I've never seen a drop of oil (or any other fluid) on the ground.

Is this anything to be concerned about?

Oil cooler line seep is common. :(

Fix with new lines and fittings at both ends. :D

You can see parts of the oil lines in the pic, and they appear to be the source.

I've had to replace mine twice so far. -2006 with 56,000 miles.
Not a big problem to address, just consider it a maintenance thing.
Oil / tranny lines like that leak on other cars. Viper isn't any different in that respect.

The gen III power steering line issue on the other hand, is something that totally *****. :crazy2:

Viper is at the dealer now being repaired. Car is still under the original 3/36 warranty, and I assume this would be covered.

Update: dealer confirmed it was the oil cooler lines. Will take 3-4 days to get replacements. Should have the car back by Fr or Sa.

I had a similar leak / seep on my 09 ACR.

I ordered the steel braided lines the other day from Viper Specialty and will have them installed in the near future.

.....definitely a must for track use.
