We have found a few instances where dealers (and owners) have called the VPA for a parts order, and Keith asks some probing questions, and it turns into a totally different "fix."

Case in point, last week, a dealer called the VPA for an order for a few thousand dollars. Keith asked "what's the issue these parts don't seem to not go together." The dealer then went on to describe the problem, and Keith stated "buy a new battery". So sure, we lost a few grand in sales, but fixed the issue, and gained some good will.

So here is a place where you can ask Keith parts or technical related questions. Please be patient. Keith is a one man show, and doesn't have a lot of time to cruise the forums, but he will make time once or twice a week, his first responsibility is to fulfill parts orders, he might also post some specials, etc.

So who is Keith? Keith was one of the first 12 certified Viper techs in the world. He has been a great technician for every model viper (save for gen 5) for nearly 20 years. He has helped many members out of the Texas club in while both at Lewsiville Dodge and at "Musclehead"

Thanks all!
Greg

:omg:It s like when i served in the Soviet Army back in the mid 80s. You go to the army doctor and tell him that you have a headache and stomach ache and fever, and he just looks at you and gives you an aspirin pill, brakes it in half and tells you this half is for your headache and this half is for your stomache ache and fever just Do NOT mix them up. This techinique saved the russians billions.:D

I'm trying to find a part for my 2000 RT-10 & not sure what its called but its the lil' black plastic cap piece that fits on the top of the windshield Underneath the top lid. its the lil' black cap that fits on the inside of the sun-visor, if that helps. the cap goes on then you screw on the visor part into it. If I need to I could take a pic of it. Lol! I'm sure I've Really got you Screwed-Up Now! Thanks! on the inside of the cap it has L.H. C Viper, I think that stands for Left Hand Corner cause its on my Driver Side. Anyway, its cracked & I'm looking to Buy One if ya'll carry these!

Come on, Matt ... I read that request and it was just a BIT vague. I'm sure that IF you had your car there and Keith could look at it, he would know EXACTLY what part you're talking about. Go ahead and post up a pic and I'm sure he will be able to point you in the right direction.

Separately, I hope 'our little guy' is doing well ... give him a hug for me.

Hello, Sorry for the SUPER DELAY in responding. I really not much into forums.Working on trying to be more involved in the forums.
I much prefer PHONE CALLS, ( 888-984-7377 ) . It is much easier to work on resolving Issues on repairing the car. That's what i'm here for... to make sure the VIPER is repaired, PERIOD !! .
