Why I like the Gen 2 lines afnd over all look! Went to a car show and had a Gen 3 parked next to mine and the crowds were around mine at least 2 to 1 over the Gen 3. That's why I chose it over th Gen 3. Couldn't afford a Gen 4 or 5. I think the value of the Gen 2 will increase over the early Gen 3's over time, just because of the looks and other features. These features led me to the Gen 2. Interior seats, (I don't like the Gen 3 inserts); Wheels (I like a five spoke wheel) Removable hardtop ( I don't like the looks of a convertible top that is weathered. Rearend look (I like the look of the Gen 2 over the Gen 3, the Gen 3 looks stubby) Hood ( although I like the Gen 4 over the Gen 2 regarding the vents, I like the late Gen 2 hoods over the Gen 3 and of course the full tilt front end is way better than the Gen 3 traditional hood. Sides (I prefer the curved sides of the Gen 2 over the pointed sides of the Gen 3) If you notice the Gen 5's went back to the full tilt front and curved sides! Engine ( the look of the Gen 2 engine looks better than the Gen 3 under the hood) at least that was the reaction of the people at the show and I agree.

Sure the Gen II looks great, and in time they probably will be the better looking classic car, but I chose the Gen 3 for power, "luxury" and more modern look....and because I already had a Gen I and the Gen II looks about the same to me. I actually like the wel made roof instead of the floppy top of the RT/10 and the fact that this one actually prevents me from getting wet in rain..., the better aircon, the better seats to my taste and of course the brakes are a big plus to me.

By reading your post alone I'd guess you to be around 13. If not... Good Lord.

You really can't go wrong with any generation you choose. They are all great cars in different ways.

To look at ALL the Vipers in purely stock form.... the Gen 4 ACR and the Gen 5 T/A look awesome right out of the box. The Gen 3 looks like a Vette to me. But when you take a blue and white stripe Gen 2 and lower it, put some nice wheels, better brakes, and a Roe supercharger.....you achieve perfection.
