have a new viper coming and was wondering if there is specific protectors for the ten V cars, to protect the front and rear wheel wells/behind the wheels from stone/rocks….

also, any recommendations for a round engraved shifter knob in alum or SS ?

Didn't find anything reasonable and decided to clear-bra.

Yes there's lots of new technology in the film world these days. Guys in my area wrap entire cars in this clear film. It's self rejuvenating if scratched and you cannot tell it's on the car at all w/10 year warranty. Lambo, Ferrari, Bugatti etc etc etc use this stuff. Clear bra is old news. Google clear guard nano paint protection film.

I just had Nano Fusion film applied. It is important to have your installer come back once the film has dried to remove any raised edges, bubbles, etc. Our cars are very curvy.

ok… got the v1 here in so.calif. but they are using laser in my area so… kinna difficult to beat that…lol.

anyway, i got the orange TA so, want to show the color….just want to protect the front and the areas behind the wheel well from stone chips…i've seen CF and there real protectors which would work but it sticks out, as it's supposed to…. but if these films can protect the area almost as well…. something to consider…which do you recommend ?

btw, a chrome wrap on a viper would be crazy cool too… wonder if anyone done that on a viper….

tnx for replies…

Please forgive me, my use of the term clear-bra was generically speaking about film. To be more exact, my car is wrapped with XPEL-Ultimate for the front bumper and rocker panels. The rest of the car has Suntek.
3 stage paint correction, Opti-Coat, film installed and another coat over the film.

Yes to the chrome wrap, there's an owner on FB that has posted a couple of pics. Cool for a show car, but a bit much for me. But it's all good.
