Issues after the battery dying

I just picked up a preowned 13' White GTS with 5.5k miles. It sat at the dealership for a month and the battery died.

now all the lights are on. it was taken to a dodge dealer across the street, in houston and they said they werent sure about it and would probably take them over a week to get to it.

i had them pull the car out of there and decided it would be better to take it to viper exchange instead.
Just curious if anybody else has had a similar issue before. The diagnostic code returns as speed sensor, which explains the TPMS and traction control light being on.

it runs fine but sometimes the instrument cluster just randomly restarts in the middle of the driving.

Im planning on taking it to viper exchange pretty soon, when time allows but in the mean time wanted to check and see if i could get any help from here.

Also, would any of u guys happen to know the previous owner? it would be helpful to know if anything was done to the car/history. Im not gonna judge, what's done is done, it can only help me from this point on.

Houston car, purchased in April/May at the dodge dealer by 290 and West road.
White no stripes with full black interior.

A couple of things come to mind.
Battery status always at top of list...even more so if the "battery died". I personally won't keep a questionable battery in a Viper. I prefer to get a new one, check its voltage before buying...then fully charge it before installation, then recharge it again after installation. One might check to be sure that cables to battery are on securely.

One also wonders about the "real reason" car was traded in so quickly.

If the battery is questionable, simply replace it.
It's not worth getting stranded somewhere.;)

I can't comment on a lot of your issues, but will give you this battery advice since we specialize in the 12/24 world of dc current and flattened batteries are always an issue.

If the battery went below 10.5 volts, it damages the battery. Do it a couple of times and the battery will never perform correctly, even when you think you've put it on a quality charger, etc.

When I bought my Gen 4, it was new and the battery was dead sitting inside the showroom of the dealership. No matter how I charged it or how often I drove the Viper, it would often have trouble turning over the motor. Put in a new battery and never had an issue since.

Hopefully your issues are just a weak and damaged battery.

Please don't take your Viper to anyone except Tomball Dodge aka Viper Xchange. They are the ONLY dealer in the area that knows what they are doing and will take care of your car. Ask for Morgan, their Viper tech. He is the only one that touches my car.
