Just about time to change my 12 year old original tires. Only 8k miles but getting a bit hard. I really like Michelins, but what are you all changing to? Don't track the car at all, but I do want good grip. Opinions?

Just replaced original tires on a 2001 with 19k miles. Discovered to have a matched set( front and rear tread design the same) only Michelin offers them.Finding a set was also a problem. Many dealers could not get them. Ended up buying them from Tire Rack and they were fresh.Simple process. Tire rack had the best price and they gave you names of different intallers along with installation price in your area.Ordered them Wednesday night and had them Friday afternoon.

Are the tires worth it? You will not believe the difference in handling. I am 75 and do not race the car but I like a solid grip going around corners and curves.Good investment.

Yes, original wheels. They are 18".

Are you talking about Michelin Pilot PS2's?

Thanks for the feedback.
