I'm looking my tires and i find that: On the left front and left rear tires there isn't DOT number! By the way on the right front and rear there is DOT number...Why??

The number is only on one side of the tire. On directional tires, one side of the car will have that side out and the other will not.

I have old tires...but tread is 80% :-(

which is risk? explosion? Or bad road holding? I thinked to wait spring season to change all tires because now i use Viper very little..

Mainly just bad road holding and the speed rating would no longer be valid. Tire failure would happen at lower speeds and/or shorter duration than the rated speed. If I could see cracking in the tire rubber, then I would be concerned about immediate replacement. Because of the Viper's high torque, you really want to have good rubber for those times your foot uncontrollably presses the gas pedal to the floor and you are susceptible to having the back tires lose traction. Lots of accidents have been reported like that.

One word.... TRACTION.
(unless you do some serious speeding on the A-7 to Genova... then you have more to worry about.)

Been many times in north Italy, first time with my chopped Mini Cooper in 1980 and after that every 2-3 years.
Good firends of mine (Paolo & Fabio) keep a motel/restaurant between Rovereto and Schio, on Strada Statale 46, Albergo Alla Lanterna. Great place, specifically if you are a motorcyclist!
Never been in Italy with my Viper, too complicated to ship it over from USA. (by the way, I am a Moto-Guzzi enthusiast too;-)
Ciao, Lauri
