Are there any seat lowering kits yet for the GenV?

When you look at the possibility's of modifying the track be aware of the wiring and the height floor pan to seat bottom so you don't damage anything also it may not be a good thing to have the bottom of the seat touching the floor for comfort or safety. No matter what you end up doing remember that the distance from the seat bottom to the floor is already very close also the seatbelt attaches to the seat not the pan on the inside you don't want it tearing loose in an accident.

It's about 1.5" and with this mod you use up almost an inch of that. It's a VERY good mod for those of us that are 6'2-6'4....

looking under the seat it looks like it could certainly have been lowered another inch from the factory. I have head room(thanks to the double bubble roof) but look out the top 1/5 of the windshield. Here's a good tip, when at a red light I look for the reflection in my hood to see when it turns green.

SnakeOyl has a solution shipping soon, lowers the seat 2.5" with height adjustment, not an endorsement just FYI, although I've used their lowering kits on previous gens & they've been the ticket. Posted on 'other' club site for info in gen5 area for reference.

They shipped to paying customers over a week ago. One of my friends has already installed it. Hot tip: Read the instructions...then...follow the instructions.

My dealer ordered it for me and put it on the car. It is amazing the difference it makes. I'm 6'4 and my knees were in the dash when I test drove the car. Now that the kit is in I have about an 1" of room from the dash. The best part is the fact that I can see so much better out of the windshield now!

I think it is. If you are anywhere near north Georgia, you are more than welcome to come sit in mine and see the difference.

Haha! Yeah I guess that it's a little too far. Yes the one on viperpartsusa.com is the one I used.

I'm only 6' tall and I hate having to creak my neck every time to see if the light is green. I'd like a lowering kit too if they ever get made. I've got welding equipment and a plasma cutter- but I just don't wanna do it.

Now if you let Viper Chloe drive, that wouldn't be a problem
