I am currently installing clear side markers on my car, but I've ran into an issue. I have removed the two nuts and the light assembly. From everything I've read, you should just be able to push the housing out from the inside. I have been trying this for hours and nothing is budging. From the outside, I can make the marker move slightly up and down, but that's all of the movement in getting. Am I missing something? Is there a trick to pushing the housing out or something I can use because it seems to be stuck and I don't want to damage the car. Thanks for your help.

I don't remember there being any trick. Have you tried the other side and get the same result?

Thank you for all of your help. It took me a few hours, but I finally got both of them out. Mine required a good amount of force. They seemed to be completely stuck, but they loosened a bit over time. I have just painted the housings and I will be putting the klearz clear lenses on the housing. Does the lense need to be glued onto the housing or does it just snap on?

I don't remember gluing them in place; but its been 4+ years and I am an old fart. If the old lens wasn't glued or siliconed in place, I wouldn't have done anything to the new ones unless they didn't snap in place.

The Klearz lens will just snap into place. If you're thinking about tinting (looks nice on a dark car), do it before you put them back on.

Also worth noting, at least when I purchased them some years ago, the Klearz guy would make the lenses to the level of tint that you tell him to.
