The Insurance company thinks it may have been gang related
They are treating me well came back at $34,000.00
I think having Prefix do it would be great but the cost would probably total it
On the plus side I put car on display at the Dezer Collection museum in their Supercar grand opening
If the insurance company lets me keep the hood I plan to donate it to them to auction off for charity

I think the conspiracy theories on this thread and subtle insinuations are ridiculous... There are plenty of ******* kids or people that do **** like this out of sheer jealousy and envy. There is an entire subculture of dregs on the system that all they do is commit crime and blame other for their situations in life and hate people that have nice things. These people are called Democrats and voted for Obama..twice..

I love how the last sentence of this paragraph mocks the first. I'm going to call this piece "Good Cop Bad Cop".

I think it is fairly accurate, no conflicts. One minor correction , the a..h.... artist has never been in a voting booth.

Well what I am referring to is the "membership" comments, where there is some undertones of conspiracy of possible Viper club affiliations, or at least thats how I interpreted the comments. Where the simple fact of the matter this extent and level of damage is usually one of 3 things,
1) random act of senseless aggression usually fueled by just being a POS who has nothing and spends his or her life trying to take from others..IE DEMOCRATS.. or
2) crazy girlfriend or wife or any woman you have scorned
3) straight up insurance fraud..

Not saying any of the 3 apply here, just saying from my personal experiences this is what I have seen in the past. The random ******* who keys cars does not usually go to this extent, they generally swipe one or two body panels with a sharp object and spend almost no time doing so. There was much more hatred and directed intent either personally or towards what the owner of this car represents to them, as the person really took their time on this one.

See the posts above regarding gang activity in South Florida. The conspiracy angle was only mentioned in one post by a non member and was absurd. Just someone trying to stir up trouble at the expense of a member whose car was viciously disfigured by a punk. This kind of attack on a car; car break ins; and, car thefts are common gang membership initiation behaviors. I would be surprised if it was not that way in New Jersey.

At this point, it doesn't matter how it happened. The car is thrashed and South Florida is going to hell in a hand basket.

The car can be repaired and I never intend to sell it anyway, maybe the money from the hood will do some good
I definitely do not believe in anyway that this is related to the Viper clubs or any of their members I have a great relationship with both clubs and have never gotten involved with the politics, all of members are just great people that love the Viper.
there is no place I would rather live
Thanks
Wayne

I would have to go with 1. I dont have a girlfriend and my wife is very happy with me I just bought her her own Gen V Viper
Insurance fraud not my style :)
Thanks
Wayne

Good luck with everything, and I was just being dramatic about South Florida. My cousin just got back from there and told me it's the hardest place in the world to stay faithful to your wife....

Hi Wayne. I just logged in to the forum after a long time and I'm speechless.... I would have gone ballistic. Unbelievable! I'm very sorry Wayne.... I have no doubt something good will come out of this in the end even though it's hard to imagine that at this stage. Will touch
Base with you this week.

I've been lurking this forum for a while (I was researching to decide whether to buy a gen 5 or a 911s (991)), and I finally had to join just to see the pictures.

I'm also very sorry this happened to you. I have had a few cars keyed in my day, and it's a horrible feeling. There are some terrible people in this world.

Wow this *****. I've caught people taking pics with my car
while I was away, but so far I've not encountered any real
negativity leaving her parked out of sight. Hope this doesnt
spoil your driving experience - despite the agression its all
repairable.

Take care man. Push your insurance company to fix it right. Don't let them cheap out on the fix - they have their premium so now they have to pay up!
