1st Gen RT/10 has been running great, went to a car show this AM. On the way the car stalled at every stop sign and light.
It did not want to Idle!! I stopped at a gas station got some Octane booster and some injector cleaner put them in a full tank.
stalled again, got on the highway for about 30 miles running good. Finally arrived at the cars show. When leaving it stalled
again. Now it seems fine has not stalled, idles maybe higher with the booster in the tank. SO what do you think? dirt in line, in the injectors, is there a idle adjustment? Other issues?? Anyone have had this problem. Hopefully it has corrected itself.

thanks Brad

Many thoughts...battery, dirty idle air controller, dirty throttle bodies, fuel pressure... to mention a few.

Vacuum leak, Idle Air control sensor, O2 sensor would be the first things i would check, check all the vacuum lines first...

Fuel pressure would be last, and that would mean a bad fuel pump and would most likely just not run at all.

Clean the IAC Valve.
Replace the battery.

Putting that stuff in your tank was likely unnecessary . Unless you fuel up at non-top-tier gas stations in which case the fuel injectors would appreciate the cleanin...
A motor doesnt stall from lack of octane.
If it was running fine last time and this time you took her out on the same tank of gas then its unlikely that gas would be the problem. Also FI cleaner takes awhile to do its thing so its not like you would see instant results.

Never had that problem but did experience an idle/stalling issue recently... Parked at a pizza shop and ready to leave. Turned key and released too quickly. Car started up but it almost seemed as if only a couple cylinders were firing. I tried to give it gas but it would barely take any and the RPMs were super low. After several failed attempts at pumping the gas to get the engine to fire, I turned the car off and waited 15 seconds. Turned key and held this time for normal amount. Car fired up as normal.

:dunno:

Something was/is loose. Check the connectors to all the sensors, especially the IAC one if you recently replaced it.
