2doorrocket came in strafing, and went out queefing.
Ironic how he had 1 post and it was right after the dude with the riced out magnum got on my case...Also if you noticed 2doorrocket referenced my 13 year old viper, how would he know what year viper I had? He actually nailed it to a 2002. Which shows that 2 door rocket is an alter ego perhaps of the magnum owner who was at the show with me and would know exactly what year my car is.. ;-) See, Im smart, I can run things..

For what its worth, no, 2door and I are not the same person. He's just a good friend of mine on the west coast and I brought this thread up. Maybe the first post wasn't clear, but no, I do not have a Viper, but I'm still not sure as to why that bit matters. From here to Ohio I've attended Viper events and everyone's really cool. Questioning ownership in a demeaning manner, I've gotten that before...once.

I go to alot of local car shows around central Jersey area and everyone is really respectful of each others rides but I guess that's not always true. I used to like going to that show! It was good, but now that's another one off the list for the week I suppose. Enjoy your Viper.

So, you brought this thread up and he came beebopping over here to throw a couple of haymakers in your defense? I'm gonna tell you right now that smells like taint. You know, you don't have to have a Viper to be passionate about Vipers...and you don't have to have an AE to speak your mind around here. Buck up little camper and don't let it bother you when somebody comments on your ghetto sled.

I never meant to offend you or your car directly. I just found it odd that a magnum had viper stickers all over it and its owner had on viper gear and a screen name of VIPER-GTS-R..I mean I could care less, its a free world you can do what you want. I just found it odd. You got bent first then had your ****** friend from the WEst coast that happens to know EXACTLY what year viper I own, come on here and talk smack and start drama. Sure...Sounds believable. Now take off your viper shirt, and give up your screen name to someone who actually owns a Viper GTS-R and go back to the Magnum forums with the rest of the Ghetto superstars..

Sure, that's fine. Believe what you will. I'll admit I originally screened the post, friends saw it too, he was the only one that responded in the thread and when I met 2DR on the VOA forums, he'll tell you I hated his guts too! I honestly wasn't expecting anyone to jump on these forums and post after I did, that's all there is to it. I don't write like that, ever. You'll find his IP on the other side of the country too. Believe it or not, I did take some great shots of your car. Haven't said a single negative thing about it either so I'm not sure why the 'Ghetto' comments were warranted.

But I won't be giving up my viper stuff though. Some of it means alot to me, some of it I've earned. Heck, Al Deane of TI Automotive was nice enough to send me some of that SRT/Viper Exchange gear. Can't wait for Watkins Glen and Limerock. I won't be giving up the forum name either, especially after all the GTS-R pieces I have.

And
Greg's original post was about a Challenger owner not knowing what a Viper was. I then read a brief, off 'description' of my car to my surprise by the owner of a Viper I just saw a few hours before and me being labeled as ignorant, THEN as the National VCA VP puts it, a poser. Sure, that's cool. I guess I am, but it is what it is, I like Vipers. Have a good night!

Now your really grasping for straws. Your whiny ***** move couldn't garner a mob over here to flog DJV, now you have to drag Greg into it. Let me know how that goes for you.

Now wait a darn minute! I said "I wonder if that looks like a poser" was referring to ME, as it was ME with all the Viper crap driving a Jeep (or Jag, Or Fiat)! I have no freaking clue who you are!? How would I ever say you were a poser?!

I was ACTUALLY slyly siding with you, as the current owner of 3 Vipers, and obviously somewhat involved with a VIPER car club, I was being a bit tongue in cheek that you can't judge a dude (ME!) by his clothes and assume they aren't a Viper guy cause they are in a Fiat (hey it IS an Abarth) while wearing Viper clothes.

Anyway, keep it clean here (please), no one knows who people REALLY are here :)

I was at a car show last weekend doing some final touches on detailing. A new z06 backs into a spot across from me. The guy gets out and keeps looking over. I knew it was coming, but didnt expect what came next.

"What year is it?"
"'03"
"Nice car! I hope mine looks that good in 12 years."
"Gotta take care of them."
"These vettes are amazing cars aren't they?"
"What???!!!!!! This is a Viper!!!!"
"Oh!! I wondered why it looked different. I was gonna ask where you got the body kit from."

And then he proceeded to tell me how he plopped down 95k cash and stole his car from the dealer. The rest of his words was a garbled haze. How can anybody mistake a Viper for a Vette??!!!
Whaaaat??? When I was shopping for my gen III I cross shopped vette's, not because I was going to actually buy one, but because I wanted to see how they compared. You could get a 2007 z06 for less then I paid for my 2004. Same ish horse power and more amenities. I still don't know if there is a viper club here in New Mexico cause the only website I could find for one hasn't been updated in a year. I emailed the administrator to see if they still meet and Nada... Anyway, my point is I've seen maybe 10 vipers in Albuquerque my whole life (born and raised) including mine. I can't drive from work home without seeing a vette a day. I would be pissed if someone confused my "one" of a kind car with a vette!!!

I go to a few car shows now and then, I always want to park near a Corvette, always get that question, different looking Corvette? Anyway we
have always had very limited production numbers compared to the Corvette. I tell people their have been more Corvettes produced in 2015 than all the Vipers produced since the first 1992.!!!! Hand Built !!! , FUN car to Drive. You Just Don't SEE Vipers out there. Love my VIPER, stamped Last 300 side exhaust , 1995, No exterior door handles, pop in windows, No anti-lock brakes, NO Traction Control, No Air Bags, More Torque than Horsepower!!! RAW HOLD ON POWER!!!!!! ALWAYS draws attention!!!! write [email protected] for photos

thanks Bad Brad Viper owner

""Warm and Not so Fuzzy feeling"" Called my Dodge dealer to get all the fluids changed in my First Generation!! Have had service their before. They have Viper Techs. Never a issue. Was talking to a new service manager, radiator, oil, rear end, transmission, when I got to the
transmission he asked , " is your car a Automatic or a stick??" I said WHAT !!!!! he then repeated, I told him Immediately are you Kidding???

My next call was to the General manager , he needs to be educated on Vipers!!!!! signed Bad Brad

In the dudes defense, just cause he was a service manager, does not mean he has to know a thing about cars or working on them. But yeah, I have had that stupid "Auto or stick" question at a few car shows.
