Ive decided I want to move on from my 13 ZL1 vert, looking into 5th gen viper. base model, nothing fancy.

found a new yorange 15 SRT for 90k sticker. first trade offer on my ZL1 was 45k. leaving me 49k owed.

paying sticker isn't something I often do, and not gonna happen this time.

what can I expect to pay? how much will dealers move on these? will be my first viper if it happens.

how soon til the 16's come out. when will(did) 15 production end?

thanks in advance

Price depends on how serious they think you are. The dealer wants you to have the car more than you do believe it or not. You're offer just has to be reasonable.

Keep in mind that one cannot expect to see anywhere near the same discounts on 15's and 16's that were enjoyed by many buying 13's and 14's. If you can squeeze a little more off...great, go for it !!

figured when 16 came out the 15 would get a little break. there is a 14 here in town but after 10k discount its still 90k. the 15 I found is same price and more of what Im looking for. figured 85k wouldn't be an issue as that should be close to invoice. just curious as to what some others have been paying.

on the dodge site where u can search for new vipers, the vin went as high as 425.

I bought my 15 at invoice, i simply called and asked if they would do invoice and deal was done.

I wouldn't pay sticker for a Gen V, no matter what the year.

But, since you are trading in, you have lost some bargaining power. I'd sell the car first then buy. With that you are in a better position.

someone just sent me a pic of a 2014 stryker GTS sitting on a lot with just over 1000 miles on it. sticker was 143k before the markdown happened.

sitting at $91,900

stryker package
exterior carbon fiber package
venom hyper wheels
carbon fiber interior package
car cover
high perf audio speaker system

seems like a killer deal but still 90k.

how rare are the stryker green cars?

I was almost dead set on pulling the trigger today on this one which was local. Its a GTS fully loaded. Beautiful car. The stripes and carbon fiber set it off and I was not a fan of stripes. It has been sitting at the dealership for a year and this had some minor scratches from customers and kids running around it as it sat, only 10 miles on it. MSRP was $140,000, got them down to $92,000 plus tax and title however after taking some time to think about it, I ended up passing on it. It had too many scratches and abrasions for me but Im OCD. I would rather have a 2015 base model SRT in black no stripes.

not a bad car, 92 brand new is a smoking deal and it has the aero package. I agree on stripes but those are almost not noticeable. they should be able to polish the paint back up if it isn't real bad.

so 140-92.....48k off sticker. dang.

only seeing 38 off the one I like and its used.

I didn't think the scratches on that one were that bad 7th_sign - nothing a good detailer couldn't fix. I wish I knew they would have gone that low when I was looking, I would have bought it up instantly.

Did you stop by and check it out? The interior is a work of art. my cousin who details cars said most of the scratches could be removed. There are two spots that may need a good wet sand.

I've had my 2015 in there 2-3x for a few things and stare at it every time I am in there :)

**** car all around. $92 I think I could get over a few minor scratches.

They'll also order you something custom at invoice.

92 brand new GTS with the interior and exterior carbon packages, plus aero, plus the hyper Sidewinder wheels? And it's got that SRT 6 vent hood to boot! This would be the GTS I'd buy.

And you didn't buy it?????

This one?

If this is the one, I think it's a great price for what it is as well. Stryker colors are an expensive option, this car also has the carbon package inside and out, pricey options.......

I mean it's not as good a deal as a new one for this price, but it is basically new, not even fully broken in yet. The big question would be when was it put into service, meaning how much warranty is left. If you like the color, I wouldn't worry about the 1000 miles.

that's the one. I really like it, it was first owned early 2014. now this dealer has been driving it since 110 miles, has 1800 miles on it now. they have the orig window sticker in the window(pre 15k deduction) 143k

friend of mine offered them 84 to trade it to his dealership, apparently they said no,

After seeing the 14 GTS again, I noticed some deep scratches on the front bumper and rear bumper. Also some other areas on the hood that I know won't buff out. I ended up passing on it.

I did however close on a Viper today! Its a 2015 SRT Viper. Black in color and black Sidewinder II wheels, no stripes. Yeah its just the base model but its also the lightest and for my build plans does just fine. Its going to be shipped sometime next week. Very excited.

Thank you sir. I was at Katie's cars and coffee today. There were two GEN V. Both GTS, one was black with gun metal stripes and the other was red with white stripes and carbon fiber package. They both looked great.

And I tell everyone in NoVA - Ourisman in Alexandria is probably the best shop you'll find to service around. Chris is a great service manager and takes care of you.
