I'm going to be having a car shipped soon.

Do any of you know of either of these companies or have any of you used either of them before? I will most likely be using Reliable-Carriers(I heard Dodge uses them for factory pick up of their cars) but I have included the links to both Shipping companies below:

Reliable Carriers

America's Premier Enclosed Auto Transport Company for vintage race cars, collector cars, classic car, show cars, antique car, concours and auction transport: Automobile transportation is our only business - Door to door car transport service from Int

Any feedback would be helpful..

If for some reason Gary Almond is too busy.......FedEx Passport did a great job for me driving my wife's new vette from the dealer in Michigan to our home in Florida.
And YES, I would use them again.

Let me just add, (UN)Reliable transferred my Viper from the Dealer to my home.
(UN)Reliable is the same company that transfers the new Vipers from Dodge to each dealer.
I can honestly say, without question, I would never use them again.

I just used Fedex Passport to ship a 2500HD Crew Cab truck and a 2008 Subaru Tribeca from Alabama to Washington State and I would use them again. The driver updated via phone frequently.

Washington State .

Do you also say Kansas "state" or Oklahoma "state".Never understood this.If you talk about the state, then just say the name of the state. If you are talking about the city, then just add "city".If you are talking about "DC" then add "DC".Just like "tuna"!We already know it's a fish, yet people add the word "fish" to tuna.Granted the word fish is part of the name of some species,ie swordfish, cuttlefish, etc ;it is not part of the name tuna.

I used Exotic Transport but only because naples motor sports uses them and they paid for the shipping. No complaints. But, having heard so many good things about Gary Almond I will most likely use them next time.

I've been here less than two months and the entire time I've been wrestling with this very problem. From what I've read on the subject all the top minds append the "state" descriptor. For clarity's sake, and because I would never move to DC, I'll keep adding "state".

I second this... The dealer lined up Reliable for me as part of the deal from IN to NJ. They sourced it to someone else and they both treated me like Garbage in the process... Oooooh! "your car will be travelling with two Maybachs"... "We do all the transport for Barret Jackson and Russo" Like I gave 2 $hits... Car came a week late and it was ramped on and off instead of the Liftgate I was supposed to get... No damage or anything but they treat you like crap.

unReliable Blows

FEDEX is very costly isn't it ?? I think they are the highest in the business...some of the carriers will work with you if you have a window rather than demanding a certain date and time !!

Tried going to Gary's website...dead end. Is he still shipping cars?

I don't know about Gary, but I used Passport...They use to be Fed-Ex Passport, now they are just Passport...they did a great job shipping my Viper in an enclosed. They give a VCA discount and the driver is responsible for first $2500 in damage to each vehicle. They took very good care of my vehicle. I know things can affect pick up and drop off, but they picked mine up the day after I said it was available for drop off and I had it 5 days later...was shipped all the way across the country. And you can follow your vehicle via GPS during it's travels from point A to point B via an access code they give you for the GPS tracking website. Actually shows location on Google Maps. Pretty neat little feature!

My '13 GTS just went to Florida via United Routes Express. The driver/owner J.C. was extremely professional and his 4 car hauler rig is top notch. You can reach him at (305) 76four-6906 and tell him Lawrence sent you.

My Viper was in good company with a new Aventador!
