Some food for thought

Granger. Understand you renewed your VCA membership, but why now trying to stir up trouble and opening old wounds? The club has corrected itself and is moving forward.

I see that many old members that were transfered over to the other club have now seen how it is actually being run, and have rejoined, like you, the original VCA.

Biggest thing I have heard is that many are upset that so much of the dues collected at the other club are not being used for the benefit of their membership, but instead, much of the dues are being channelled into the pet magazine of just one person. Clubs are not supposed to be set up to benefit just one person, but all the membership.

As things continue to move forward, hope much of this interclub bickering stops, and that both clubs focus totally on the real objective. Supporting the manufacturer and enhancing the Viper ownership experience.

Seriously, the individuals who established the VOA who were Board members of the VCA should know, if they do not already realize it, that it is in their personal best interest for the VCA to survive. They left a large pile of crap for the remaining Board to clean up. Some of that crap could easily follow them on an individual level if not properly dealt with since it has only been two years. Some of them seem to forget that as Officers and Directors of a tax exempt non profit entity that they had affirmative duties toward the entity and the membership which did not just disappear when they chose to abandon the VCA; recruit its Regions; copy its website; recruit its vendors; and affirmatively try to sabotage what was left. In order for the crap to be dealt with, the VCA and its Board needs to survive. So the hostility from certain VOA members, some of whom arguably might have the most to lose if the VCA failed ( which it has not so far despite their efforts) is incredibly shortsighted. It is what it is. There will always be fools.

We can argue all day long about who's best at what, but in the final analysis VOA for the time being at least, have the upper hand. If thev VCA continue to attempt to match their offerings. I think the best option going forward is to repurpose. Jmho

All of this stuff is absolutely ridiculous. RIDICULOUS. I was banned for life from the VOA for making a harmless double entendre towards Randall on my third post...and that third post was made within five minutes of my membership being activated. No warning, no two week time out, LIFETIME ban. Sam Goldfarb called me everything but a child of God, namely an "****** redneck". He photoshopped my Viper next to a double decker trailer. I told him "it was people like me that kept your ass from becoming a lamp shade". Banned for life from the Alley. The point I'm trying to make is that maybe we should start doing the same thing and drop the ban hammer on some of those VOA guys that come over with the sole intent to troll. Just ban them for life just like the VOA and it's butt kissing affiliate the Alley.

What actually is required to be banned ? Just curious For the record and since we are on subject.

Things have definitely deteriorated in the last year. Granger hit the nail on the head with VOA. All the Alley really has left is BlackSnake99 and DirtySocks. Dave666 is over there now crying about his parts being a few days late from Rock Auto while simultaneously defending RSI for not delivering a customers car in three years. VCA constantly getting sniped by non members. This club needs a strong resolute group of individuals to step in and clean house if it's gonna make it.

Would just move on. If we censor them we ultimately end up sensoring ourselves. This club can go on its just going to take some fresh thinking to do that. By
that I mean the members as a group will have to stick together. The yapping that's went on the last few days should for the most part be ignored. They are using
The same ole tricks and getting the same reaction. Let us all not waste anymore time on old ways and find a new approach.

Ha...that was good. I'm indefatigable when it comes to this stuff and find the drama quite humorous...on both sides. Much smarter people than myself have a grim outlook, which is a cause for concern. We'll see how it all plays out. I've paid my dues and contributed to the raffle. Meanwhile, there's a little place I'm kind of missing right now. Jeff knows. Might just rebuild it myself

Yea, the place might still be running if I hadn't stopped being the admin. The problem was it was never going to work and I told Bryan that. No matter how dire things felt, there would always be the draw to be part of the VCA and I still believe that.... Sorry Bryan

I am really upset with the other club right now! They're at it again, they are taking something from our play book, and I am loving it!!!!!! Let me explain: To do a thing like banning someone from a web site for life takes a special kind of person. They have really wasted they're time and tried to take our record of life banning They also have tried to get the VCA to erase all our emails concerning all bad things generated by each club,-----LOLOLOL!!!!!!????

I was born more than ten years after the Holocaust and World War Two. What specifically did you do to stop anyone from becoming a "lamp shade"? Did you serve in a branch of the military in 1941-1945? Hide **** in your cellar? Maybe it's all your philanthropic or civic support that you gave? All I saw was a homophobic, blowhard bigot spouting hatred against **** and other groups. Once frustrated you resorted to your colorful and hateful comments. I didn't get you kicked out of Viper Alley, you did! You can dish it out, but can't take it? I'm glad to see that I got under your skin and you still have the opportunity to voice your opinions. Too bad you only have an audience of less than ten "loyal followers"!
