Has anyone removed the second cat on their gen V? I removed the second cat and put magna flow mufflers on. It sounds awesome and woke the up car big time. But after driving for a while my check engine light came on and gave me the error code "P2099 downstream fuel trim system 2 rich" I disconnected the battery for about 15 minutes and after re connecting the light was still there. I had a shop hook up a scanner and clear the code. But it came back after driving for about 45 minutes. Has anyone had this? I have a 2014 GTS with about 220 miles on it.

I have experienced this on other vehicles. One of two things can take care of this issue. The first would be o2 spacers on the rear o2 sensors similar to these:

I can't confirm if these are the exact ones you need. The other option would be to get with a tuner and have a custom tune written that essentially shuts off your downstream o2 sensors, the computer will never turn the light on for that or any other downstream o2 sensor codes. I would recommend Torrie at Unleashed Tuning to have that done. Hope this helps.

The Arrow PCM will eliminate the codes, it is an off road PCM though, but you have the ability to swap back and forth with the original after the first mating to the car. If you have questions you can contact me at 402-677-2935 or through woodhousemotorsports.com
