I bought a used kit and I am in the process of installing it and can't get the injectors that came with the used kit to stop leaking.

These came used and with the kit that I bought here back in 2012.

As you can tell from thread here I've been a little lazy with the install.

http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/659047-DIY-ROE-Supercharger-Install-1999-GTS-ACR

The part number on the injectors are 4532586 which are the Deka Mopar Performance Super 60 +40% rated 52 lbs/hr at 55psi.

They measure 60mm from where they would seat.

The ROE fuel rail spacers measure approx. 65mm.

When I installed them the first time and pressurized the system both rails leaked and the O-rings didn't seal and some were slightly crushed as the injectors weren't 100% lined up.

I bought new 0-Rings from Fel-Pro. Part number ES 70599. Put new O-rings in and tried again thinking that I crushed some O-rings. Second time with new O-rings still leaked.

Took everything apart and tried to figure out the problem. The fuel rail appears that the stubby end of the Deka injector would go in the manifold and the pointed end would fit snug and lock into the fuel rail as it's recessed. The pointy end of the injector locks in nicely in that configuration but it points in the wrong direction in my opinion. That looks like the best way it would fit. This appears backwards and also in that orientation you can't get the wiring clipped on as the connector is on the bottom.

I can only install them with the stubby end in the fuel rail and the pointed end in the manifold.

I shaved down the fuel rail spacers to match the injector length and tried again and it still leaks. I'm thinking that these injectors aren't the ones to use. Or I just **** at getting them in correctly. I want to rule out the injectors but I have my reservations of them.

It appears in the orientation with the wiring in the upper position places the injector with the pointed end in the wrong hole. It is so easy to seat the pointed end of the injector into the fuel rail. It's like it's supposed to fit that way. The stubby end would just sit in the opening in the manifold. Is the right injector a different design where it is reversed and the stubby fuel spraying end goes into the manifold and a pointed fuel feed end would fit snug into the collared fuel rail?

ROE is closed and they do list Injectors on their site. I was hoping that these Deka ones were working in the used kit from the previous owner. I'm now beginning to wonder if they were just thrown in. I for the life of me can't seem to figure this out and get them sealed and not leak fuel.

Not sure on if those are the proper ones, but I do have a set of green top injectors that came off of my Roe if you need some.

Wrong injectors from what I can see. Unbolt the fuel rails from the intake tubes so you just have the bare fuel rail in your hand. Put all five injectors into the manifold pointy end down. Orient the injector so the connector faces the supercharger. Connect all 5 injectors. Put the spacers on the threaded shafts. Seat the bare fuel rail on the top of all the injectors making sure they are correctly aligned. Here is what I suspect you'll notice: The fuel rail won't push down over the top o-rings since the fuel rail is hitting the injector connector....since its the wrong injector design. Do this and report back.

Good call on the removal of the intake tube and just mocking up the fuel rail. I'll do that in the morning and put up some pics.

I think I might be interested in those if those will work with a 10# setup. Do you have any pictures of them for comparison?

Thanks for the replies!

I can take some later today and they came off my 10# setup. I took them off when I did my heads/cam/2.8L blower build.

I'll be happy with whatever doesn't leak and gets me the fuel that I need.

Didn't have time to get the rail checked out.

Thanks for the measurements. I'll check them against what I have.

I called up ROE Racing and just ordered a new set.

Popped right in no issues and fired right up.

Also installed the 400 LPH Fuel Pump.

BTW the polarity is reversed on the pump. Switch your wires around and you are good to go.

It may have been mentioned in the instructions but I misplaced them.

Either way it was straight forward on the fuel pump install once I realized the polarity issue.

Now on to the VEC install.
