Ok so I know some of you track your cars, I’m wondering what tire and wheel combination you use and why. I tracked my car for the first time on factory issued set up. Amazing in my opinion. I’m told that a few upgrades in this department would be outstanding. Thoughts anyone?

Broom--
I'm finding this site very quiet--I asked a question regarding my vinyl steering wheel cover becoming tacky or sticky with no results--hope that you do better--Dave

I think it depends on what you're going for. I really like the Pilot Supersports on my 04, but that's all I've ever had on it on a track. I did drive my dad's 03 with Nitto Invos on it and thought it felt similar enough once things were hot. I think you probably have to get into competition tires like the Sport Cups or whatever the Pirelli equivalents are to see some really noticeable differences.
