Can anyone tell me the difference (if any) between a 2003 and 2004 SRT-10?

Thank you

The difference that I worry about has to do with the change made to the harmonic damper bolt. In 2004, they used a long, skinny bolt (110 mm X 14 mm) torqued to 130 ft-lbs. Prior years and subsequent years used the 2.25"x0.75" bolt torqued to 250 ft-lbs.
Sadly, some 2004's developed serious issues early on.

One should check the crank damper bolt on all Vipers periodically as they can loosen. With 2004's, the "fix" was to clean, then LockTite the bolt, that torqueing it to 160 ft-lbs.

I know/have know many 2004 owners who had no problem whatsoever after this issue was addressed.

The power steering fluid became Mopar ATF+4 in 2004 to present.

Also, the brake calipers moved from black in 03 to red in 04.

The "boot cover" came standard starting in 04...AND the White Mamba & Black Mamba models were introduced.

Congrats, Sir !!

By the way, if my guess is correct, we are about the same age...and, we both thoroughly enjoy Vipers. Rock on !!!

Steve-Indy, I am 77 and have owned new 94, new 03, and a used 08. I just purchased a 2004.....probably will be last. My first car was in 1961 (MG twin cam), and I've always been a car nut. Tried them all (Diablos, Ford GT, Z06, Toyata 2000 GT, ) I put 93,000 miles on a Ferrari 308 GTB in 1978-1983. Enough....could go on and on. I still prefer Viper when compare to all new everything automatic.
