My keyfob quit working, and i smashed it trying to get it back together. It was my last one. I need to disable the alarm so I can drive the car. Whats the trick?

Also what are my options for getting new keyfobs and having them programmed? I assume the dealer will kill me $

A quick search would suggest that you consider calling me...as no one in their right mind would post said answer !! 317-402-9013.

Don't be offended if I ask you a couple of "ownership" questions. :)

Someone thankfully put a bypass button in mine when it happens. All I do is push the button and all that stuff resets.

Hi Steve

I've come across your posts in the search to get my viper started again that's having the alarm issue. I've tried the other steps with disconnecting battery (briefly touching cable to earth), re-syncing the fob with the green wire and new batteries in fob but the alarm is still acive. I live in Australia and wondering if it's ok if I give you a call during the EST hours you've suggested?

Thanks

Dave

Certainly, Dave !!

I have had the pleasure of speaking with several of your countrymen in the past on this issue. Hopefully, we can achieve both a short term and a long term solution.

Best regards,

Steve

I do not do PM's on forums since with so many lines of communication coming in, it is easy for me to miss one. As noted above, my telephone works fine...both for texts and talk. Feel free to call me at the number listed above. If it goes to voicemail, I will get back with you shortly.

Looking forward to hearing from you !!
