I live in Texas and my Viper puts out too much heat. I have purchased an exhaust wrap but is there anything else that I can do?

Sorry, it is a 2004 SRT-10 convertible. I saw that the Gen 2 has a relay to keep the fan running a little after it is shut off but I haven't seen it for a Gen 3.

Gen III has much better engine cooling than Gen I or II in my opinion. That said, I took your post to mean excessive cockpit temps, not excessive oil or water temps.

Many owners who of Gen III's complain about excessive cockpit heat report excellent results after removing the crossover pipes in the exhaust and adding high flow cats at the same time. Before you go that route, I would check with fellow Texans concerning the above modifications and whether or not there is a problem meeting your state's emission laws...if any.

Hopefully, others will chime in here with their ideas for your locale.

Yes, cockpit heat. I just bought my Viper last week and I hope to meet some fellow Viper owners near me. Thanks Steve

Most parts of Texas do not sniff for emissions at inspection. I know some of the DFW counties do but there are ways around that.

I have a catback and it still gets uncomfortably hot after maybe 20 min. Apparently a high flow cat system is supposed to help additionally so that will probably be the next step for me.

You might check your HVAC system as well. On mine the shaft of the door that controls the air temp had broken off inside the servo, so the temperature dial did nothing. It was running full blast heat. That would really only matter to you though if it was coming from the vents and not just radiant heat from everything else.
