Big difference here is that this one is not 'advertised' for
sale. What will happen (as it usually does) is someone
else, much like One Day here, will stumble across this
carcass and see a "$20k Viper!!" and not bother asking
about it first. Theyll buy it straight out, then three months
from now we'll start hearing about what peices of crap
Vipers are because theyre money pits.

You think vipers are crap cars?

Well my friends life my have foiled my plans! I have been back and forth on this green 95 and I have just had a situation where I can no longer store the car on the premises if I were to purchase it! I guess this just isn't the right time. :( I have no idea how expensive a storage facility would be to keep it there and would I really want to store something like that off site? The car appears to be in decent shape. There is a crinkle on one corner of the hood. Not sure if it is repairable. It is stock with 28k miles on it. Has the roof and windows with it. Needs a good cleaning, but I am a detailer so that won't be a problem. Interestingly enough it has michelins on the rear and goodyears on the front. It will happen eventually. The fact that I was this close is heartening and makes me feel determined! I really appreciate all your help and advice.

You wouldn't consider storing as car like this.....right.....? o_O

Depends on what you mean by "store". My mom had her 94 as a storage facility just a few blocks up the road from her house for a while when there wasn't garage space at the time. I kept my 71 Vette in there as well until I moved out. We just kept a cover on it and it was fine. I think the big reason we were okay with it was because it was so close though. You could walk there and take it out for a drive if you really wanted, though it was a little bit of a walk. If it was something that was completely across town or something like that it would be far less appealing to me. The fees do add up though, so it makes it a tough proposition. For what we paid in storage fees over the years we could have potentially built a small garage, assuming the city would have let us put it on the property.

A worn out, green 94 RT with some damage is not the Mona Lisa.
Argumentatively the finest, prettiest, best performing car ever built,
but at the end of the day its still just a car. If you let yourself think
its too precious to let outside eventually youll stop driving it to work...
then at night... then only on sunny days... then only on sunny warm
days... then ultimately youll convince yourself never to drive it again.

We had a moderator here about a decade ago (Vipermad) who loved his
GTS more than the world. He drove it everywhere. Then one day he
decided to add a supercharger... then a **** kit... then a body kit...
then a custom paint job... then a HeffTT rebuild... in the end he stopped
driving it because be became worried he would wreck it and lose every-
thing he worked so hard to build. Then one day life threw him a curve
ball and he was forced to sell it.

If you want the car, buy the car, deal with the whatevers tomorrow... but
please dont ever think its too valuable to do anything with. Drive it. In the
snow, to the movies, across country... whatever... you will NEVER get your
money back in dollars, but if you own it right youll get it back elsewhere...
