I recently purchased a 1994 RT10. The vehicle has 28,000 miles on it. The only thing that seems to be a problem is that the right-side valve cover red paint is peeling. I would really appreciate some advice as to how and where I can get this fixed. Thanks! Russ @ [email protected].

You could also remove the intake and covers and take them
to any qualified shop to have them re-powdercoated to your
choice of colour. Its EXTREMELY important that they know
the metal very sensitive to certain paint removal chemicals (my
shop found that out the hard way when the partially dissolved
one of my covers and had to replace it.) But other than that
its a pretty straight forward repair that can really personalize
your car. Even a fresh coat of red can improve the look,
especially if its beginning to fade already.

I'm in the same boat with my '02. The paint has flaked off in a couple of areas. It seems like a pretty straightforward fix, but I'm not looking forward to leaving the valvetrain exposed. I could do exchange but think I want to keep my original covers and have them done at the same time as my intake.
