"Proud" is an awfully strong word. Im glad he got off light,
but 140 on an occupied highway is the sort of shit that
leads to new laws being made. Im just glad he pulled over
instead of doubling down and getting into real trouble.

I did it too at 140 on a closed freeway due to mud slides in Santa Barbara, north bound 101 was closed at a certain point so no major traffic just very few cars and logic tells me no traffic no cops so made 3 round trips- first at 120, second at 130 and third at 140 was going to go for 150 but decided it was enough ( I have driven F1 cars at 160 miles/hr on a oval track so I has experience at those speeds, but its diff on oval track with super super wide slicks that bite the road and straight highway )

I used to live in Houston, and the toll roads are about the safest place to do stupid stuff. It's still pretty stupid to do this on public roads, though. Metal becomes liquid when it impacts at those speeds.

I say this as I'm screwing a Roe supercharger onto my Gen-2.
