The stock front wheels on my '04 have small cracks from the valve stem opening outward to the edge of wheel. The right front wheel now will no longer hold air. I had the tire dismounted and tried an overnight epoxy on the inside of the crack with no success. Has anyone seen this before? Any better repair suggestions other than replacing the wheels? Who might be a good vendor to purchase OEM wheels from? Thanks in advance.

Unless I am misunderstanding your description, I would not use that wheel at all.

Call JonB at Viper Parts Rack for wheels, tires, and pointers 360-837-3937

Any more info on which variety of wheel it is? That sounds pretty bad. I know my 10 spokes are some heavy duty rims, so I can't imagine those cracking without some serious abuse. Do you know if anything in particular happened to them like hitting a curb?

I would agree with Steve, any crack in a wheel is bad business and I would avoid using it for the time being. That's a pretty major component to fail that would have some catastrophic consequences if it went out while driving.

The wheels are the stock '04 (10 spokes if you will). Each front wheel has one larger than hairline crack that runs from the valve stem outward to the tire. The right front is losing air now thru this crack. Sounds like I stand alone here and new front wheels are in order.
Thank you for the responses.
