Other than putting hi-flow cats to get rid of the exhaust smell, what have you done to eliminate getting exhaust fumes in the cabin?

I've read about blocking the side vents in the trunk, but that's not a good idea. Do the rubber flaps in the vents go bad and has anyone replaced it? Has anyone tried a rear diffuser and did that help? And the guys who converted to side exit exhaust, did it make the smell worse or better?

My car hasn't had cats on it since I acquired it in 2015 and there is zero exhaust smell in the cabin. I would take a look at your vents, something must not be sealing up right.

Ditto what Firebird said. No smell in the cabin at idle or at WOT. It only has a strong smell when I back it into my garage, but the smell is in the garage, not in the car.

You have a bad leak some where, and its not running right, I have no cats, no smell and exhaust has no bad smell, but then my car is tuned right , so all cars pre 1994 with out cats stunk, I don't remember that, only when they were not adjusted right, to rich, timing wrong, bad plugs ect
