I took my '05 Copperhead in for its emission test and was informed they couldn't communicate with the Data Link Connector (DLC) under the dashboard. There has been no work done and the car has run fine since the last test. Is there a common issue for this or should I start checking connections, continuity, etc? Thanks.

Start with the fuse to DLC...B 12 as I recall. Check your manual to be sure.

Common if you haven't driven your car frequently. Same thing happened on my 02 RT10. Drove it 50 miles and took it back to emissions where it passed with flying colors.

As noted very common problem with the Viper, you need to run it at least 100 miles and it should pass
