I am trying to install a Kenwood stereo radio/CD player in my 95 Viper. I cannot find anyone who can supply me with harness to adapt the unit to my cars wiring harness. Can anyone point to where I might get one. I checked Best Buy and Ebay so far with no luck. Thanx

I am by no means an expert, but in looking for a stock radio for my 2003, I keep seeing reference that it is the same as those used in standard Dodges. If so, a normal pigtail for aftermarket radios should work.

I am sure someone who has done this will chime in!

I could not find any kind of radio adapter when I did my 96 GTS. I bypassed the factory amp and ran new wires from the head unit to the 4 speakers. Then using the diagram from the old radio, I spliced in the rest.

Not super hard, but can be intimidating.

When I put in an Alpine head unit, you can change the color of the lighting (made it amber to match the gauges, very cool). There was a guy on ebay that made this DIN adapter. I don't see him on line any more. The Audio store said they could make me one but since someone already did, they said just buy theirs. Here is a photo of the adapter. I would suggest going to a local audio store to see if they could make you one, I have also had some good luck with the techs at my local Best Buy, they have been very helpful, I go at the end of their day when they aren't busy.
