hey all, i have not been here for a while do to getting old and pretty much medical reasons. my 01 acr has been down for around 5 yrs. i had the steering rack rebuilt, new battery so on and so on... she fired up and runs great and goes down the road. but now i have some problems. i have abs, brake, check engine lights on now. the windows will not work or the ac blower and radio. all the interior lights, brake lights head lights work. its like the center console lost all power. anyone had this issue? i have checked a lot of fuses to no avail. any ideas would be great, thanks

Cars that have been sitting...especially in humid environments...are prone to gather micro-corrosion on/in wiring connectors. I would read codes and start sorting subsystems. Sometimes, just unplugging, then re-plugging a sensor, or module will clear up this type of issue.

Given your opening statement on age and implied limitations, you might want a local Viper shop to sort this for you.

Best of luck to you !!

Do the panel lights work?
How about turn signals and hazard lights?
Horn?
Power mirrors?
back up lights?
Sorry for all questions, but I am looking at a wiring manual trying to spot any common power side or ground point common to what is not working.

Grounds? I had an intermittent problem with the headlights. Wound up being the ground that is behind the passenger headlight. All I did was loosen and retighten the ground.

I'd still be leery of the battery or the charging system. If there's not enough voltage going into the car, it starts doing weird things like that. Could it be possible that your alternator took a crap or isn't outputting enough to keep your battery topped off? This would explain why it seemed to be fine at first, but then problems popped up after some use (battery got drained). I run a cigar lighter USB plug that displays voltage output all the time. I find it useful and put them in all of my vehicles to monitor battery status and charging status. This is what I have in my cognac interior GTS: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08138GVMH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Wicked, I agree 120% with you. But,....
Op says it is good.
He says car starts and runs great. Just some subsystems do not work.

So happy that this was sorted out! The suggestions from everyone are very educational, to me at least. Nice to see such support! Incredible that so many fuses were affected all at one time.

There is a product called DeOxit D100 that I would highly recommend for any electrical connection. It cleans corrosion and prevents it from forming again. After a fail like this one it may be worth the effort to apply it to all of those fuses and relays. Just spray it on and reconnect, then remove the fuse and reconnect again. It evaporates on its own in seconds and leaves a protective film. Disconnect the Negative (-) ground strap before you start.

. Take your front bumper off and replace the 2 O rings to the ac condenser, common problem. Recharge the system properly by yourself or from a professional. Recover whatever is in the system, pull a vacuum, add oil, recharge system. That was the problem with mine. Blows ice cold now. Hope this helps

Another thing to consider is the service point Schrader valve before getting in to deep. I have used the store supplied service kit that come with freon cans. I have not had any problems with my Vipers, but on one occasion when I serviced one of my Corvettes it damage the Schrader valve. It did exactly what you described, worked great for a day or so and then only blew warm.
I could hear the leak at the service point.
Replaced the valve and then all was good.
In my case one the Vette, the system did not completely bleed off so I bought a tool ( really neat tool) that allowed you to replace the Schrader without opening the system to the atmosphere.
The tool was about 60 bucks, but saved me taking the car to a shop where I probably would have to pay 200 bucks to get the system completely reserviced.

Gotta take the whole front off, you want to clean the surfaces where the o rings will go. And while you got it all off, blow everything out in the condenser and radiator for better air flow

Is there a video or layout of the process to take the front bumper off? I would like to do this but having some guidance always helps.
