So I recently finally acquired a real deal DRB III, but I seem to be having some issues getting my TPMS module reprogrammed. The long story is I bought a set of Dorman cloneable sensors because I had two sets of rims, so I cloned a full set for the extra rims. Recently my OEM ones finally gave up in my first set of rims, so I got another set of the Dorman sensors and cloned them and everything seemed to be going fine, but now I will randomly get a critical tire pressure warning when I first start the car (even before moving it) that will eventually go away after driving it for a bit. I figured I'd try reprogramming all the sensors in the module just to see if maybe something had gotten messed up, but I can't get the sensors to do anything with a magnet. I bought a generic TPMS relearn magnet on Amazon (this one if it matters: https://www.amazon.com/Pressure-Mon...=1&keywords=tpms+magnet&qid=1591012247&sr=8-2) and have recently confirmed with Dorman that a magnet should work on the sensors I bought, but I'm not sure what I might be doing wrong. The DRB III just sits on the "pending" status whenever I try the TPMS module programming function and the valve stems barely stick out of my rims, so I'm not sure exactly how to position the magnet. Any tips out there? Has anyone tried a generic magnet instead of an "official" Miller one? If the magnet doesn't work, what about something like this https://www.amazon.com/VXDAS-EL-504...words=tpms+wake+up+tool&qid=1591012408&sr=8-1 instead?

Well, ended up just buying the tool in the second link and giving it a try figuring I could send it back if it didn't work. Seems to have done the trick, so module is programmed again.
