Carbon Fiber Hood?

I have a 2003 SRT10 in Viper red and have been thinking about ways to break-up all the red. I am wondering about a carbon fiber hood with a gloss finish. Does anyone have experience with the carbon fiber hoods you can easily find with a google search? I like bargains, but $1,500 seems too low for so much material. Any comments appreciated. Thanks! Hoods at that price are probably fiberglass with multiple small carbon sheets. Fitment more than likely is terrible.

I bought mine with the hood already installed and of course finished front bumper, it looks sooo close to carbon however it is fiberglass. I’ve had no issues and obviously I don’t know which mfg it is either but for example: it’s so unique it gets all respect when out....
