I have a 2008, my battery light goes on occasionally and yesterday it was discharging. When i went to restart later it was fine anyone have any idea whats happening?

You probably are on the last few breaths of that battery and in need of a new one.
Take it to Walmart, if their service department is open in your area. Walmart has some of the best battery testing equipment around, better than auto parts stores.

If you do a lot of low RPM driving the battery the can actually discharge. Charge the battery with a charger. Check the voltage yourself. If not at least 12.6 volts it's time for a new one. Be proactive.
