Was my Gen III the 110th built or less?

Hi - I bought a 2003 viper with low miles and the vin ends in 3V500110. Does that mean my car was the 110th off the line? I saw a website saying the the 2003’s started with VIN ending in 3V500082. So could my car be the 28th car? I have paperwork on the car and it was sold to someone who owned other vipers. He got an invitation to buy this one. The car currently has 4,8xx miles and it 100% stock. Love it!

The only way to know for sure is to have all the MDH’s to know the build order, I do not have them for 2003. You can get a reasonable idea by looking at your MDH on the vin tag on the drivers door, the earlier in September the better

Since they didn’t build the Viper’s in order of the VIN, I checked my MDH and the above link to read it. My car was built September 5th at 11am. So how early in the production of the Gen 3 would my car be? Thanks!

A good rule of thumb is the production cycle was from September to June. History shows that 6-10 Vipers were built a day (some days had less, some days maybe 1 or 2 more)

Maybe that’s good news? I’m hoping my car was one of the first gen 3’s produced. I know it really doesn’t mean much, but to me it does.

Does anyone know the date they started building gen 3 customer cars? Thanks!
