I got a deal a while back on a set of 4 SRT "H" rims. The catch is that they are all rears. I tried finding someone to swap 2 rears for 2 fronts but didn't have any luck.

My plan is to send 2 of the rears off to Weldcraft wheels and have them narrowed to 11" and run them on the front. Before I spend the $$ and potentially ruin a set of rims, can anyone confirm that they will actually work on the front? I noticed that the rears on the stock rims have a deeper "dish" and now am a little worried that the modified fronts may stick out too far. I already have them boxed up and ready to go but figured I should get a second opinion or two before I commit to anything.

Thanks in advance.

It looks like it would push the fronts out about 3/4" over stock. The outer edge of the tire would stick out past the fender about 3/8" with an 11" wide tire. I'm still on the fence about doing this.

So you will end up with 19"-19" ......

Are you able to test-fit / place a H rear on the front? As in your photo? Does it clear at the rear?
I dont think the ++ positive offset can be lessened by narrowing, you will be sandblasting your sills and fenders. And look goofy. A Question for Weldcraft

Then, 19-19 matching tires........

The posted pic (above in 2nd post) is of the "H" rear rim on the front and I don't like it. The fenders and doors would get blasted and I just don't think it would look right.
I should just sell my spare set of rears and keep looking for a front set, but I'll have to buy a full set of 18" tires if I want to actually be able to drive the car this summer.

I don't want this.

If you are dedicated to H-Spoke, you may have to buy 1 at a time til complete.

[I think H-spoke is the heaviest OE Viper wheel ever....more than the G3 10-spoke Eggo-Waffle OE wheels.]
