The white Mamba I purchased last April has provided several challenges. Received only one key/fob with car. Recently I purchased a used factory fob and tried numerous attempts to program it following the owner's manual instructions. Couldn't get the car to go to a programming mode. Over the next few months I talked to numerous key/ lock smiths with little/no success. Last week a new suggestion was offered.

A technician suggested I clear all/any fault codes by disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes. Hook it back up and then try the owner's manual instructions again. Damn if it didn't work. I now have two sets of working keys/ fobs. Don't know if this helps anyone, but it's like chicken soup ...........!

Hi, thats interesting...
bought a Gen3 this year summer but all FOBs getting lost during delivery. So, I ordered 2 new FOBs at a dealer. Dealer tried to program both new FOBs but it was just possible to program 1 FOB. This sounds a little strange to me. I am assuming the Vipers are delivered with two keys and 2 FOBs.
Can you share the owner´s manual instruction as I can try it be myself?
Thanks in advance

Christian

Do you have an Owner's Manual. Detailed instructions for programming an additional fob are provided. You'll need a functioning fob to do this. If you don't have a manual send me an email to [email protected] and I'll send instructions.

My FOBs are getting old and starting to act up. Sometimes they work, sometimes certain functions don’t.
Would really like to get new FOBs or possible a custom FOB option. Does anyone know where I might find this?

Purchased my FOB from ebay. You can find a MOPAR FOB but make sure its the same part number and model number as your current unit. You might want to check the batteries in your faulty FOB. You need a good functioning FOB to program any new unit you buy. Programming a new FOB instructions can be found in your owners manual.
