They were on back order for quite some time, but JomB has lots of options...and can hopefully get it to you soon.

Not sure what JohnB offers or others, there was a thread that I started about Window Trim that is broken on a GEN III as well. Going to get after this this week. But I have a quotation to have mine Rebuilt with Metal that does not break out of a Window Repair place in Arizona and will do this as the stock ones are not robust and just replacing the regulator with the stock one would not be a permanent solution. They have been very responsive, and it comes with a lifetime warranty.

Here is the place that has been recommended on this site with good results. I have a quote from them. https://powerwindowrepair.com/

Where can I find a replacement passenger side window regulator for my 2003 Gen 3 Convertible? Thanks.
Let me know how that goes. I just had a passenger side regulator replaced in an 03 using the dealer recommended OEM replacement part 04865610AI. The only problem I have after the dealer trying two different OEM regulators is that it does not roll down completely flush. There is about 1/2" of window sticking up above the door when all the way down. The dealer thinks that part supersession now on the "AI" part may have a slightly shorter travel. You can have a company in Arizona rebuild your failed regulator. I'm going down that route right now.

Hey guys, any update on the PowerWindinowRepair place in Arizona?
Gotta deal with this myself. Both Windows!!

Passenger window sounds like the usual failure of the tubing over the spring cable line (noise on rise). But can lower and raise 1/2 way without any issues.

Driver window is different. Not exactly sure what broke yet. On lowering, the rear of the window drops faster than the front and can get a bit jammed up.
Have learned I can pull the rear of the window up again by hand to level it out again. Not sure what's wrong.
Have also learned that if I use short bursts on the switch can crack it open and close without too much problem.
But needs to be fixed!!

Hope to hear from you soon, thanks!

I am so sorry to answer so late. I've done nothing with my Viper in the past months . Long story. I will get this going and report back. I plan on keeping this car - long story, again. But I will do the research and fix mine and report back. these are crazy issues that should be fixed.

just had mine rebuilt at the company in AZ. Would recommened, about 400$ after shipping both ways. New design is way sturdier and comes with a life time warranty.

OK, I am going to send both of mine out, need to pull the door panels and get them off. I need to find someone here in town that can do this for me. That has been a problem. I will report back. Have way too many projects going but this needs to be fixed. sounds like drasch21 has had good luck with the folks in AZ too.

How bad can they be and still be rebuilt? I put a new one in my driver's side a few years ago, but I think I hung on to the old unit for parts. Wasn't sure if they could be too far gone to be rebuilt or not. My passenger one is hanging on, but I have a feeling it might not be too far behind one of these days.

I am so sorry - I have too many projects and too many cars AND finding people you trust to do your work is getting harder and harder. And espe ially a viper....I have my regulators out and will send them to https://powerwindowrepair.com/ I will let you know how it goes. There was also someone here who repairs the weather strip at the top of the door that is as cheap as the Regulator. ill find that as well. again, please forgive my tardiness. I need to sell cars. hope the Viper is not one of them.

I sent both of my Power Window Regulators from my copperhead to the Window Repair place in Arizona. https://powerwindowrepair.com/ . I am now looking for the best solution for the cheap Window Trim that is broken on the top of the door. Also, now facing a problem that the areas on the doors that you screw in the screw against the door to hold it, is broken out. Terribly cheap doors and the plastic is broken out, the holes now too big for normal screw. We are going to try a super glue/Plastic Bonding solution. Everything about these Gen 3 doors is super cheap. Ugh.

I had that same problem with the plastic pieces breaking out where the screws are. I 3D printed some cups that I super glued to the backside of the door to try to build that section back up. Worked for a while, but one of them has broken again. I think the material I used wasn't really great for the job though. Have some PETG now that is quite a bit tougher that I think will last longer, but not sure how well it might glue. Could maybe try plastic welding as well with some mesh reinforcement. I did that to several of the tabs on my trim pieces that hold the clips used to assemble everything together. I've taken my interior apart so many times messing with various things over the years that I've broken a few. Last time I had them out I got the soldering iron out and some aluminum window screen and starting melting it all back together. Worked out great so far and the added reinforcement of the mesh is some peace of mind to me. I had previously epoxied some metal strip around my glovebox surround as it had cracked and broken on me in a few places being so thin. Redid that with the mesh and it fits better and holds tighter now.

Mine are on their way back from AZ. They turned them around in less than 4 days. I will let you know how the regulators work and operate. Now that Door situation and the Window trim at the top must be addressed.

I just sent my regulator to power window supply to have them rebuilt. This video from havik performance is great for removing the regulators and taking off door panels without breaking anything. I’ll post pictures of the regulator once I get it back. Here is the video from havik performance

I received back my rebuilt window regulator from powerwindowrepair.com and I am very pleased. They received it on Monday and had it rebuilt and shippped by Tuesday. The rebuilt regulator does not have the white plastic that typically cracks and also they replace the motor. Best of all it has a lifetime warranty and will outlast a factory one. I installed the regulator with no issues and it works perfect. I also installed the window boss kit from Doug Shelby engineering so I will never a issue with the plastic ones.

I am pleased with mine as well and I also bought the Doug Shelby Window Boss Kit on it. My Tech is timing the windows so that they go up when the door is closed. Now trying to decide on the window trim at the top that is all broken up. We are trying to figure out how to make sure that the little cups that break where the screws attach to the door panels do not break again. What a bunch of junk Chrysler put together in these Gen III Doors, windows, and trim. Even my little Pontiac Solstice GXP that Road and Track etc. annihilated for cheep plastic interiors, is far more sturdy and reliable than these Gen III vipers. Hope I can bring these up to where they are at least reliable.
