Does anyone have any experience with paint correction and wet sanding on the Gen 3 GTS Blue Viper with white stripes? I experienced an unfortunate incident where a caustic substance like brake fluid or something spurted onto my hood and bubbled the ceramic coating on a section of my hood while in a shop. The detailer tried Stage 3 paint correction on the GTS Blue which did help some but didn't try it on the white stripes because we assumed they were vinyl. Since discovering they are painted on, I am wondering if the same process may work in addition to wet sanding to bring the finish back to its original condition. We haven't gone ahead with any wet sanding on the blue yet either. Thanks in advance.

ooo, tough call. Feel your pain.:ooo:

Considering the ceramic coating was there, wet sanding would be my last resort.
I'd try to polish it out as much as possible with a cutting polish and pad in as tight an area as needed.
Based on those results would check into something like Dr. ColorChip to fill it back in.

I used Dr. ColorChip over the entire hood of my Porsche (was seriously chipped and pitted) and it did wonders.
