Completely understand, Chuck. Please know that you are an important part the Carolinas Viper Club - no matter what. We all simply want to drive our Vipers with our friends and that will never change.... Well, we may try driving them without floormats next time, BUT OTHER THAN THAT... it will...
Chuck, that made me laugh...

We are looking at the Green Valley Grill in Greensboro for our dinner (http://www.greenvalleygrill.com). We will have a semi-private set of tables in the restaurant. I told them we would be expecting a dozen to twenty people. Please post up if you are panning to attend. The wife and I are...
You don't HAVE to bring the Viper if it will be an pain. Not like we are headed to a track or anything. I may actually need to bring our SUV to fit all of the auction/raffle goodies.
BTW, I am back in town and will look to get solid details out ASAP and respond to emails

Please see the Georgia forum if you are interested in attending:
They have promised to have the complete SRT experience available, unlike the VIR race (which was a complete bust - see my post in the Georgia thread). It was still...
Spoke with Kim @ JRThompson and she said the price has been adjusted to 174 for SRT owners and is still 170 for passengers.
I hope it is better than ALMS @ VIR was. SRT completely abandoned the race as far as hospitality was concerned... See my comments in bold below
The SRT experience...
They received a stop-go penalty and were required to pit, not sure exactly why
It was for "VIPs". Seemingly those that paid for the corral parking, there were only 4 of us for SRT. I think the cars only did 5 laps total (1 per person).
There were dozens of Lambos out there and we were kicked from doing our parade laps. They did offer us a consolation of riding full throttle in a Gen5 Viper around the track for a single lap, though. It was fun, but I drove mine up there to get it out on the track.
I will definitely go again...
I will actually be taking my mother with me to the race.... she thinks "parade laps" mean "parade float speed".... should be very interesting. :2tu:
Stef is freaking out because she just found out Patrick Dempsey will be there racing with his porsche team
I believe they are $90 at the gate for general admission (no more online sales available) or you can still get SRT Corral & Hospitality tickets for $140 (driver only) or $255 (driver and a passenger) via http://virnow.com/event-info/car-corrals-during-alms/
Here is the link to the gallery from pro photographer the Biltmore Event:
There is a "save file" icon that will appear next to each photo when you select it for viewing...
Embedded it on the website gallery.... still have to do some work on the page this week.
Brian, Love that you got the 17mph sign at the Grove Park Inn. I wanted to stop and get a pic of it but I didn't.
