The good news is that the long installation program was initially designed to be done by a StarSCAN...with wiTECH being added later. Both the StarSCAN and the early wiTECH devices were free standing (the wiTECH required a laptop computer)...they could be used off line.
A few years ago, the...
Short version of an old fart's (me !!) opinion:
Buy exactly what you really want when it is feasible. I would not suggest building up a clone on a lesser model as it is unlikely that you will be able to sell it as easily or for as much money as if it was an OEM ACR-E.
Best regards !
Those came from JonB at PartsRack several years ago. They fit Gen III and Gen IV Vipers. After the fronts were introduced,, rears were added. They were well made, not cheap, and sold out a long time ago.
Of course, you could still make an inquiry...who knows what may transpire??!!!
For clarification, my warning for a new Viper driver revolved around caution when accelerating hard in first gear, as well as remaining cautious on the 1st to 2nd gear shift...noting that indeed at 1600 rpm there is already over 400 ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels. A couple of my Regional...
VolsTN, you might try JonB at PartsRack.
I believe a member in Great Britian used to supply these in various colors to fellow members...though, as it has been awhile, I could be wrong. If, however, I am on the right track, GB President Mark Kidman would likely who it was/is. Mark posts as...
One final note, VPRHunter:
If during your inspection you have a specific question, feel free to call me and MAYBE I can be of some assistance. While I am not a mechanic, I do have a bit of Viper knowledge. 317 402 9013

As usual, MoparMap has clearly articulated some of the worries (or lack thereof) surrounding reported the multi-owner issue. Admittedly, I personally prefer a one or two owner car to one that has been in multiple hands...especially if the potential for said car being a "demo" at a dealership or...
You should contact JonB at Viper Parts Rack in Washington State to see if he can help you.
It is my information that these regulators are on national backorder...so it is hard to say when they might become available.
In the meantime, you might try one of the splint kits from The Viper Store in...
Hi, Greg...as you know...there are a lot of variables. Some of these are easy if you already have experience with a Gen III or IV.
It will be your call as to when and how to start the car.
I will be glad to offer some tips on battery, alarm, cockpit entry without battery power, potential...
As I said above, "Any decent tech using a wiTECH 2.0 pod should be able to help you."
Have you dealt with this dealership in the past?
If "yes"....do you trust this dealership based on YOUR previous dealings with them? If not, then find another dealership.
I have had fellow members tell me...
Any decent tech using a wiTECH 2.0 pod should be able to help you.
That said, they may not be interested if they think it will be used on public roads.
Have you read through the entire protocol for the initial successful swap? It is not short...and, skipping steps usually results in failure.
