Id say to look for the vin tag on the block to make sure it matches but its in such a ******* spot that even with the car on the lift and even if you get a mechanics mirror theres no way to read it its too close to the frame of the car to look at.
I agree with you guys that 40 hours for a professional shop is way too much. I think for a regular person in their backyard that about an hour per bushing would be more realistic so for a professional shop maybe 10 hours for using poly or 12 hours for rubber. Ive done this myself using the...
are you able to still get those in our sizes? i did find a site called the coker tire company that carries them but only in 2 16" sizes. youre right though its good we can get the ps2 its a great tire just figured it would be great to get something new and improved
I think they will be better but probably still not recommended to drive them when its less than 35 degrees out. The current PS2 has a similar amount of dry grip as a new PS4 but only a 20k treadwear warranty compared to 30k on the newer one. The newer one is also better in the wet.
awesome.. they just responded to my message and said they see that the only option for viper is the PS2 and will forward it to their marketing department
Hey everyone, just wanted to see if there would be any interest in these new Pilot Sport 5 tires that just came out being made in Gen 1-2 Sizes 275/40/17 & 335/35/17. They wont work on my '09 but I do have a '98 TransAm that I use these sizes on and have been using the Ps2 viper tires for the...
Oh ok yea if you could find a way to keep your setup as is that would be the best option lol; it will keep your hp numbers and gas mileage at the best possible scenario.
you would probably have to cut about 6" off the tips in order for one of those resonator tips to bolt on without sticking out too much. id try to find a resonator tip like the one i attached where the inside diameter is still around 3" while the outside diameter is only about a quarter inch more...
You helped me so much when I was researching the Mopar exhaust i got that i wanted to try to see if I can at least offer some assistance... I was thinking to quiet it down no matter which route you take it will probably cost you a little bit of power unfortunately.
If you went back to a catted...
also that aftermarket radio that was posted looks just like a radio i had tried to install in my dakota before i bought the RB1 but it would get so hot that i was worried it would cause a fire so i returned it. was some made in china knockoff and the green lighting on it was way off it was like...
Correct, you need the RB1 to get siriusxm since the standard radios dont have the aux port. My car came with the RB1 navigation system and it has siriusxm which was also from the factory but they are two separate units that work together. i have an 02 Dakota RT which uses the same radios as the...
sorry for the delayed response havent been on here in a few weeks. yea its actually pretty easy. did it in maybe 30 minutes. definitely a worthwhile mod. besides the power increase and slightly better throttle feel, the initial startup sounds more like a proper sports car and less truckish, no...
Actually now that I think about it you cant even do the non foulers lol. Theres nowhere to even ***** the rear o2 sensors into so that wouldnt work. I hear on the gen 3 models people would tie the o2s to the frame of the car and leave them out but I dont know if that will work on a gen 4 or not.
Oh nicee. Youre gonna love it. Sounds great. I unplugged the o2 sensors and just put them in a box but I also at the same time got the Mopar PCM part# P5155254AB so theres no issues with engine warning lights or anything. I got it on this dodge dealer website Bamwholesaleparts for around $1,100...
Oh that's not too bad. I tried doing that and the plastic was so stiff it would barely budge I thought it would crack so I did it the hard way by reaching a wrench in there and turning little by little. Easily the least fun part of the install.
Oh wow u noticed the less fumes too. Interesting. Maybe the 4 separate tubes inside the race muffler instead of just one hollow opening in other mufflers are somehow burning off some of the gasses similar to a cat.
Makes sense with the low tone though sounding lower but carrying further. Yea...
Finally finished putting all the panels back on and tightening everything up and took the car out today. I didnt get to get a good video of me driving around or anything but i did take a quick idle video. Ill try to get another one soon with me revving it and driving it. Driving around at light...
I was able to get the passenger side done yesterday now just need to do some adjustments to line up the tips but was able to briefly start it up and I'm definitely super happy with the sound. At idle it sounds much deeper and it's not much louder than stock which is good so I'm not ******* off...
